Placement guide

Small left-chest or large centred embroidery?

Both hoodies begin with your own photo. Their effect is different: a centred design stands out and leaves more room for contours, while a small left-chest embroidery stays subtle and needs stronger simplification.

1. When a centred design works best

The central placement is the more prominent choice. It gives the outline more room and is better suited to a couple, a group with clear silhouettes, or a vehicle with several characteristic lines.

Even here, not every detail from the photo is reproduced. The aim is a readable line drawing, not a photorealistic copy.

2. When a small left-chest design works best

The wearer-left chest placement has the feel of a classic small chest motif. It is easy to wear and only reveals its personal detail at closer range.

Choose a simple silhouette: one person, a couple in a clear pose, or a reduced object. Many faces, fine accessories or a busy background need greater simplification.

3. The same photo will not automatically look the same

The outline may need to be reduced more for the small placement than for the centre. Decide by the intended effect: should the artwork define the hoodie or appear as a discreet detail?

Use the product images and offered options as your reference. We do not publish unconfirmed stitch areas or exact dimensions as promises.

4. Colour, size and availability

Colour and size do not change the placement concept, but can affect visual contrast. Available combinations and prices come live from Medusa and are confirmed on the product page and in the cart.

5. Our decision guide

Choose the centre if the artwork should lead the garment or retain more lines. Choose the left chest for a personal detail that is easy to style. If the photo itself is uncertain, start with the photo guide.
